Westminster hitter named Frontier Player of the Week

WHITEFISH, Mont., Aug. 31, 2010 – Clotile Harris of Westminster College was named Frontier Conference volleyball player of the week.

Harris is a 6-foot-2 freshman outside hitter from West Valley City, Utah. Westminster opened their 2010 season with a 2-2 weekend. The Griffins beat Daemen College 3-0 and No. College of Idaho 3-2, and lost to No, 9 Azusa Pacific 2-3 and No. 16 College of Idaho 1-3.

Harris averaged 4.76 kills with a .305 hitting percentage. She also averaged 1.41 digs and .59 assisted blocks.

Also nominated: Kristin Barott of Rocky Mountain College, Kaylee Bossert of MSU-Northern, Katie Daly of Montana Tech, Maureen Frauenholtz of Carroll College and Lauryn Herrick of Lewis-Clark State.
