Helena, MT. - After defeating Trinity College on the road last week by the score of 2-1. The Carroll College women’s soccer team landed in the final spot of the first Top 25 coaches poll of the season.
The Saints beat Trinity Christian and Xavier University, both from Illinois, by identical 2-1 scores. The Saints are on the road for one more game this evening vs. Bethel College of Indiana before returning to Montana for a neutral site game in Billings this weekend vs. Minot State University of South Dakota. The Saints next home game will be September 26th again vs. Minot State
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The next regular season Top 25 poll will be announced on Sept. 14.
