Local Boys React to Signing with Griz

The Griz signed two football players from Missoula as a part of today's 19 player recruiting class.

Jordan Tripp out of Big Sky High School is expected to play linebacker. He had 12 sacks for the Eagles last year and was an all-state and all-conference pick. Tripp also played running back.

Steven Rominger out of Sentinel High School will likely suit up somewhere in the defensive backfield. He played safety and quarterback for the Spartans last season. Rominger led Class AA in rushing and was also an all-state and all-conference selection.

Both players are UM legacies. Rominger's dad Dean kicked for the Griz from 1980-1983. Tripp's dad Bryan started at linebacker for the Griz from 1989-90, and his grandfather Gene played from the Griz from 1963-64.
