GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of an 18-year-old Great Falls man who died after jumping into the Missouri River in the Hardy Creek area.

The Cascade County Sheriff's office says Devin Erick Spriggs jumped off a 20-foot cliff into the river Wednesday and then failed to resurface. His body was found Thursday afternoon, and the deputy coroner ruled the death an accidental drowning.

The death marks the third drowning in the last five years at the jump.
