MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — The new Armed Forces Reserve Center outside Missoula is expected to open within two months.

The $17 million, 70,000-square-foot building sits atop 30 rolling acres just northeast of the Wye.

It will be home to more than 600 Army Reserve and Army National Guard soldiers. They will use it to learn, train and get prepared to ship out to wherever the Army needs them.

It will also house numerous other services, from military recruitment to services for the families of soldiers soon to be deployed to, currently serving in or returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
