BOZEMAN - A judge has maintained the bail amount for an 18-year-old man accused of holding up a video store near Belgrade.

Defendant Sean Lindquist's mother asked District Judge Mike Salvagni Monday to release her son without bail and allow him to live with her in Belgrade.

Lindquist and a then 16-year-old boy are accused of entering Lakeside Video the evening of Jan. 3 wearing ski masks. Authorities say one of them demanded money and brandished a small semiautomatic pistol.

Court documents say the teens took $85 and one of them apologized to the clerk for what he was doing.

Salvagni maintained Lindquist's bail at $20,000. The teen, who was 17 at the time of the robbery, is being tried as an adult and is in custody.
