GREAT FALLS - Officials in Great Falls say work crews have been filling in 200 potholes a day.

City Public Works Director Jim Rearden says it was a tough year for pavement with all the freeze-and-thaw cycles.

Rearden says the cost of materials has increased and the agency will probably propose a 10 percent increase in street funding. A street assessment is levied annually on city property owners.
