KALISPELL - Flathead County officials have released the name of the 19-year-old Eureka woman who died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 north of Kalispell last week.

The sheriff's office says Lakeisha Dawn Thibault was killed in the crash just before 1 a.m. Friday. Thibault was southbound when a pickup sideswiped her car as the driver tried to pass her, causing both vehicles to roll off the right side of the roadway. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt and both were ejected from their vehicles.

The Montana Highway Patrol has recommended the 28-year-old man who was driving the pickup be charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol and criminal endangerment, along with drunken driving.
