MISSOULA - Missoula police are looking for a man believed to be linked to a pair of armed robberies that occurred just outside two grocery stores.

Police say a gunman held up three male victims in two separate robberies Sunday night, in each case making off with the victims' wallets.

Missoula Police Sgt. Richard Stepper says no shots were fired, but one victim may have been struck in the head with the suspect's gun. Stepper says similar details from the robberies indicates they may be the work of the same person.

Stepper also says cases when a suspect robs victims outside at gunpoint are rare in the state.
