DENTON - Four teenagers killed in a weekend car crash were remembered Thursday at memorial services in Denton as adventure seekers who were full of life.

The town of 300 swelled to more than 1,000 as people poured in from the surrounding countryside to console friends and neighbors. They shared stories and hoped ease the pain of a loss that struck the farming community northwest of Lewistown.

Among those killed were two brothers: 17-year-old Kale Phelps and 14-year-old Kade Phelps, along with 16-year-old Jace Jelinek and 14-year-old Dayne Heble. They were killed Saturday about 20 miles out of town on Highway 81, when their car flipped over. Two boys survived the crash, one after being pulled out by a passer-by before the car erupted into flames.
