Twin Bridges man accused of shooting man in face

VIRGINIA CITY - Authorities say a 64-year-old Twin Bridges man has been arrested for allegedly shooting another man in the face with a rifle.

Richard Shueneman appeared in Madison County Justice Court Tuesday on a charge of felony assault with a weapon. Court records state that Shueneman fired a rifle into a group of people outside his home early Tuesday morning. Apparently, he wanted to scare off the group, which he described as disorderly. The victim was identified as Morgan Dorseth. He was listed in stable condition at a hospital in Seattle.
