BRIDGER - The board of trustees for the Bridger schools have decided students won't switch to a four-day week, after all.

In May the board voted for a school week spanning four days instead of five. Goals included greater concentration of instructional time, and more flexibility in travel for field trips or sports.

School Superintendent John Ballard says a vote to keep the five-day week came about because of a clerical error involving the move to four days. The board plans to vote on the rescheduling again, in about six months.
