GREAT FALLS - Two Calgary men are dead, following separate motorcycle crashes on the same stretch of highway near Browning. The first wreck happened shortly after 3 p.m. Friday.

The Montana Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Gregory Chambers was southbound on U.S. 89 when he crossed the center line and collided with a northbound car. The patrol says Chambers died at the scene, and the driver of the car was uninjured. The second crash happened at about 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Authorities say 33-year-old Jason Goring was southbound on a motorcycle when he drifted across the center line and hit a northbound sport utility vehicle. Goring died at the scene. His 13-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital in Browning before being flown to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center. An update on the child's condition wasn't available Sunday.

The SUV driver and his three passengers were treated at the Browning hospital and released.
