KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — Flathead County officials say a 21-year-old Kalispell man was arrested after a 2-year-old boy in his care was found sitting in the middle of the road, barefoot and crying.

A woman told the sheriff's office she found the boy Tuesday afternoon. He was not wearing a coat and it was 13 degrees outside.

Deputies followed footprints in the snow to a house.

Officers found several marijuana plants in the garage.
