Problem grizzly moved to Kootenai National ForestKALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — Wildlife officials say a 2 1/2-year-old male grizzly bear has been relocated after it frequented homes and got into garbage in northwestern Montana's West Kootenai area. The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks department caught the 215-pound bear Monday and relocated it to the Spread Creek drainage area of the Kootenai National Forest on Tuesday. The grizzly was fitted with a GPS radio collar and ear tags so biologists can track its movement. |
