Snow Makes Driving Dangerous

By KFBB News Team

The rapid overnight snowfall that continued this morning led to a tough day for drivers. The Highway Patrol says that blowing winds caused drifting on the highways, and several area roadways were restricted to emergency travel only on Saturday (3/29).

That included Highways 87 and 15 north of Great Falls and Highway 87 south of the city.

The Great Falls Police Department says drivers in the city didn't fare much better, as they were called to at least 16 accidents between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
