Edgell Building & Development has been building and remodeling in Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley for almost 30 years. Edgell Building is an active participant in the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) National Green Building Program, which verifies and designates homes as “green” using the NAHB Model Green Home Guidelines. We recently participated in the Montana Green Building Program (MGBP) of Missoula’s pilot program by building a silver-level certified home in the pedestrian-friendly Hellgate Meadows neighborhood. Our Craftsman-style home focused on energy efficiency, resource efficiency, and improved air quality, three of the guiding principles of the MGBP. Most residential construction companies begin small; Edgell Building is no different. Started in 1979 when David Edgell began doing remodeling projects, the Company has grown into a full-service construction company, building homes in all price ranges and offering light commercial buildings.

Based on a commitment to craftsmanship and integrity, the Edgell Building team, which now includes David’s two sons, works together to make sure projects stay on task and on budget. Our ultimate goal is to ensure our customers’ complete satisfaction, from the smallest to the largest of jobs. As the Company grows, development has become increasingly important. Previous projects include Prospect in Grant Creek, Orchard Park in Lolo, and Bentley Park in Missoula. We’ve also played our part in building Mission Bay in Polson and The Ranch Club (formerly Phantom Hills) in Missoula. Current developments include Hellgate Meadows and Windsor Park, both in Missoula. We also recently completed construction of a condominium project, "The Dearborn," that is designed to offer secure, convenient living in the heart of Missoula.
