Event Description

Celtic Festival Missoula 2010 is a cultural festival to celebrate the meeting of the great Celtic traditions with the Northern Rockies of Montana.

All events, including childrens' activities, Irish step dancing and a concert featuring local Irish rock band, Malarky, and international recording artists, the Young Dubliners, are free and open to the public.

It is also a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Highlander Beer, which used to be brewed in a location only a few blocks from Caras Park.

Proceeds from sales of beer, including commemorative Highlander Beer glasses, will benefit local organizations.

This celebratory festival is a great day of Celtic music, food, dancing and sport and a fundraiser with proceeds helping local groups, includng the Friends of Irish Studies and Watson's Children's Shelter.
